Chico State MBA Accreditation

The California State University, Chico College of Business is proud to be part of the 15 percent of business schools worldwide that have achieved AACSB accreditation.1

AACSB Accredited

AACSB accreditation is awarded after a rigorous years-long process of self evaluation and peer review. Business school accreditation is contingent upon alignment with 15 accreditation standards developed and maintained by the AACSB. These standards are used to evaluate the institution's mission and strategic management; the support it provides for students, faculty, and staff; the quality of teaching and learning; and the extent to which students and faculty are academically and professionally engaged.2

The College of Business at Chico State has been fully accredited by the AACSB since 1972, and we most recently were awarded a full five-year renewal of our accreditation in 2018.2 We are proud to continue to uphold the quality of education and experience for which we are renowned—and share it more broadly than ever before—in our Online MBA program.
